New Sound Laif RadioThe content and music you’ll hear of Laif FM is primarily aimed at youth and young adults but everyone who is ‘young at heart’ will enjoy the upbeat sound and positive teaching.

Many of our community leaders are concerned for the welfare of the New Generation, as higher education, the search for employment and the frustrations of insufficient job vacancies lead many to abandon rural/village life…and it’s associated community & family infrastructure, as well as traditional values of the nation.

All of the staff believe Laif FM has a valuable role to play in maintaining contact with the ‘new generation’ through high quality and solid value programs, reaching out through the cellphone, internet and radio networks.

In addition to broadcasts, UCB PNG are working with Christian Book Melanesia in the printing and distribution of the internationally-popular and much-sought-after, daily devotional The Word for Today *

The Word for Today is currently in circulation in around 30 countries. Authored by Bob Gass, these magazines have become one of the most popular, Christian publications in many of those nations.
